Why choose this venue
About the venue
A palace in the middle of Lake Pichola, where arriving across the water becomes part of the celebration.
Jagmandir Island Palace stands on an island in Lake Pichola in Udaipur. It is part of the HRH Group of Hotels, which presents it among its grand heritage properties, with courtyards and gardens.
The HRH Group includes Jagmandir in its wedding offering. Because the palace is on an island, every guest and supplier arrives by boat, which shapes the planning of any celebration here.

- 01Setting and atmosphere
- The palace occupies an island in Lake Pichola, with views across the water to the city and hills.
- 02Event-space options
- The HRH Group shows its courtyard, gardens and Kunwarpada Chowk among the palace's spaces.
- 03Guests and logistics
- All guests, suppliers and equipment cross by boat, so arrival times, boat capacity and the return journey need careful planning.
- 04Design and styling
- Everything used for décor must be brought across the water and set up within the venue's rules, so designs that rely on light, florals and fabric tend to work better than heavy structures.
- 05Practical considerations
- Capacities, availability, event restrictions and costs vary by date and season. Confirm them in writing with Jagmandir Island Palace for your dates before booking; we can help you prepare the questions to ask.
