Weddings in Jaipur

Rajasthan’s capital, known as the Pink City, is where our studio is based. Its palaces, forts and old city give celebrations a setting that is grand, historic and unmistakably Rajasthani.

The destination

Why Jaipur

Jaipur combines grand heritage settings with the practical advantages of a state capital, which is why so many Rajasthan weddings begin here.

Jaipur offers a wide choice of settings, from heritage palace hotels to contemporary resorts, with an international airport for guests travelling in.

01Landscape and setting
The Pink City is defined by its sandstone architecture, its old city and the forts on the surrounding hills, including Amer. Palace hotels, garden properties and resorts give a wide range of settings within a short drive of each other.
02Celebrations it suits
Jaipur suits celebrations of almost every scale, from intimate palace dinners to large receptions, and multi-day weddings that move between a heritage venue and a resort.
03Getting there and around
Jaipur International Airport and the city's rail and road links make it straightforward for guests to arrive. Within the city, travel times between functions depend heavily on traffic, so schedules need realistic buffers.
04When to celebrate
October to March is the main season, with mild days and cool evenings. Summer is very hot for outdoor functions, and the monsoon brings rain to open-air plans.
05Design inspiration
Pink sandstone, painted halls and jharokhas suggest rich colour, marigold and traditional craft, but the city's palaces also suit restrained, elegant design that lets the architecture lead.

  • Old-city traffic can affect guest movement; timings between functions are worth planning carefully.
